Enrolment Requirements

No prior knowledge is required to attend this one day course on Food Safety Level 2, aimed at
food handlers.

What will I learn on this course?

    A one day course will give you a Highfield Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety which covers an introduction to food safety, cross contamination, HACCP, Food Safety Management system, bacteria and how they cause food poisoning outbreaks, physical, chemical, allergenic contaminations, temperature control of food, and how to reduce risks.

Assessment and Awarding Body: Highfield Exam Board

Multiple choice exam.

Attendance?

9am until 6pm.

What else do I need to know?

This course will give you a Level 2 Food Safety qualification that will be validated for 3 years.
This is essential if you wish to work in hospitality or catering.
